This site is about the country known as Scotland - a
Kingdom in its own right,
and sending its King, James 6th, to be James 1st
of England as well, back in 1666.
My ancestors were Scottish (the only
thing Scotch is whisky) and the family tartan,
crest and badge can be seen
below. The reason for this site is that the country is so
beautiful that
